Alice Fesperman Scholarship

Alice Fesperman worked for Woodlake Union School District for 28 years. While not a Woodlake High School graduate herself, she married a Woodlake local and raised her family here with both of their sons graduating from Woodlake. And then later, both of her grandchildren graduated from WHS.

Alice was a member of the WHS Foundation for 25+ years and was always one of the first to volunteer. One of her favorite things to do was to greet everyone who arrived, especially since she had seen most of them grow up! In her own words, “I have a special place in my heart for WHS students.”

After her passing her family’s new motto is “Be Like Alice.”

On December 13, 2022, the Tulare County Board of Supervisors proclaimed it to be Alice Fesperman Day. To listen please click here: https://youtu.be/c_kkvCKtg0U?t=292
