Janet Denise McCoy (Fry) Memorial Scholarship
Janet Denise McCoy, a faithful wife, loving mother, extraordinary Nana, devoted daughter and friend to all, was called home to be with Jesus on January 24th, 2026. Janet was born on February 19, 1957, to Leo and Jean Fry in Woodlake, California, the place that shaped her heart and always remained home. In fact, she was the last baby to be born in the Woodlake hospital. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
In her honor, the Janet Denise McCoy (Fry) Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established. This scholarship will support Woodlake High School students with disabilities who are planning to attend college. She had a deep love for teaching, especially students with different learning styles and needs, and this fund reflects her heart for inclusion, encouragement, and education.
Criteria: Awarded to student with a disability who plans to attend college in the fall after graduation.
