Trudy Schuckert Memorial Scholarship
Gertrude Schuckert (1913-2003) was a trailblazer in the Three Rivers and Woodlake communities. Before moving to the area, she served as Director of California Children Services in Los Angeles County until moving to Three Rivers around 1973. Trudy soon became a community leader by serving on the Three Rivers School Board for at least 25 years. In 1991 Trudy was among the founders of the Woodlake High School Foundation.
In her spare time, she was a lover of all animals, an avid gardener, an accomplished gourd creator, and a lady angler. Her friends remember her as a devoted learner, an amazing neighbor and friend and above all else, an example of love and support for all learners. She will always be missed but through her scholarship her memory will live on.
Criteria: Active in Community Service, priority given to Three Rivers resident.
