Herman Ziegler came to Woodlake High School as Vice Principal in 1957, retiring in 1988. Coach Ziegler was known for being fair and always attending high school sporting events. He was also a Woodlake Lions Club member and could be found taking tickets at the gate of the annual rodeo.

Leeanne was an outstanding 3-sport athlete at WHS in the Class of 1984.  At UCLA, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology while she rowed for the Women’s Crew team. As a senior, she was Team Captain and on the PAC 10 All-Conference Team.  She also earned UCLA’s Outstanding Athlete Award for the sport of Crew.

Dennis Connor definitely left a lasting mark on the Woodlake High School culture! His  quiet style of leadership and careful planning helped sell his ideas to the administration, staff, parents, students, and the WHS  School Board. Dennis retired in 2004 after thirty-five years of dedication to Woodlake High School.
