Charles "Chuck" F. Mann
March 16, 1953 – July 12, 2025

Chuck Mann passed away at the age of 72 in Woodlake, CA. Chuck was born to Charlie and Gloria Mann in Visalia, CA. Chuck lived his entire life in Woodlake, attending the Woodlake School District and graduating from Woodlake High in 1971.

Chuck married Frances Mesa, in 1984, whom he has known since kindergarten, 41 years!!! Chuck enjoyed the game of golf. Chuck also did some team roping, but gave that up to spend more time golfing with his father. He made many friends golfing. One if not the high light for Chuck was coaching softball from city league, summer ball too as an assistant at Woodlake High School. Extremely happy because the varsity team won back to back valley titles and on to winning So. Cal Regional Championship. He was very proud to be part of that. He loved his girls, the other coaches and the actual game. Chuck very much enjoyed family times and going out for evening rides with Frances. Chuck also did many volunteering jobs where needed.... other than softball he enjoyed helping at the Lions rodeo and offices for the city.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 41 years, Frances, Sister, Candy Abee, 4 brother in-laws, 1 sister in-law and many nephews, nieces, and Godchildren. And what he treasured, many friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on August 1, 2025, 10:00 am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Woodlake, CA with a reception following the services at the Veterans Memorial Bldg.

In lieu of flowers: Contributions may be made to their scholarship, The Mesa-Mann Parking Permit Scholarship c/o WHS Foundation, P.O. Box 475, Woodlake, CA 93286.

Her full obituary can be found here.

Educating students is a task that is never complete. It’s on-going and needs continued support.

The purpose of our Foundation is to generate significant financial support for projects which otherwise would not be possible within the budget of our district, while also creating scholarships for our well deserving seniors to further their education.

With generous donations… both are possible.

EVENTS

Whether they are school functions or Alumni events there is something always going on at Woodlake. Take a look and see what is coming up next!

“I have had the opportunity to get to know some of the families and community as an elementary school teacher at Castle Rock in Woodlake. I see the potential in the students I interact with at the beginning of their school journey. By supporting the WHS Foundation you directly support the dreams and aspirations of these students, which in turn will forever impact the future generations to come.”

Nancy Clausen Gordon — President, WHS Foundation Board
